What is The Last Song Project?
The Last Song Project is a digital platform where each user can share the song they would like to leave this world with, and listen to other songs chosen by users from all overt the world. A project to embrace the whirlwind of emotions we experience when thinking about our very last moments. It is a community that finds in music a way to articulate different social, cultural, and human aspects.
How can you interact with The Last Song Project?
In addition to browsing the web and viewing other users’ songs, each user can share their own song, accompany it with a streaming link for listening, and an image to illustrate it. This image can be original (please be sure you have the rights to share it) or selected from images generated by the project.
Can I upload more than one song to The Last Song Project? And can I edit my song or associated content?
Each user can upload only one song to the website. However, you can edit both the chosen song and its associated text and image as many times as you wish, now or in the future.
If I upload a song to the website, can I delete it later?
Certainly. If you wish to delete the song or even your user profile from the website after uploading, you can request it via email at info@thelastsongproject.com.
Can I actively contribute to The Last Song Project?
Users who wish to do so have the option to actively collaborate with the project, whether through dissemination, development, or voluntary contributions aimed at making it viable. Additionally, 50% of each contribution will go directly to one of the non-profit organizations linked to the project, chosen by the user and dedicated to various social causes and the care of people.
To whom do the contents uploaded by users to The Last Song Project belong?
All content uploaded to The Last Song Project website by a user is the exclusive property of that user, with the exception of songs, rights, and images not owned by them, which belong to their authors, labels, record companies, or third-party streaming platforms, if applicable. All content related to the website itself, such as general texts, graphic design, logos, iconography, or proprietary images, are the property of The Last Song Project and are protected by Spanish law. In case any user testimony may be suitable for inclusion in another project or platform related to The Last Song Project, we commit to contacting the authors to inform them and obtain their express authorization. How does The Last Song Project protect its user's data?
At The Last Song Project, we have security measures in place to protect your data and will never share your data with third parties, unless it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or in response to official requests from authorities. Payment data for contributions is processed securely and encrypted by secure payment platforms, and The Last Song Project neither stores this data nor has any related interest in it.
